Toile Birthday Cards

Good morning!  Today is my day to post on the SumMore Fun blog. The cards I am sharing with you use stamps from Raisin Boat's All In Toile stamp set.  In fact, I used all but two of the stamps in that set on each card!

I used white cardstock to stamp on and positioned the Toile stamps on my stamp positioning tool to make duplication and stamp quality easy.  The first color I went with was red.  Then I decided I wanted to create a fun purple, and last a traditional blue toile.

I also used my stamp positioning tool for the sentiment.  That stamp is also from the All In Toile stamp set.  I added pieces of silver doily and a narrow strip of black cardstock between the two stamped areas.

The embellishments I used include black Nuvo Crystal Drops and Trendy Twine in Berry, Grape Fizz, and In The Navy.  The white cardstock layer was matted with black and a cardstock that matched the ink color.
