Happy Halloween Cards

Happy Wednesday morning!  Today is my turn to post on the SVG Attic blog.  Every year I send out Halloween cards to all of our family members.  There are SO many cute ones at SVG Attic that I had a hard time picking which ones to start with.  I used the papers that I was blessed to receive from my crafty friend, Lisa, as inspiration for my cards.  Thank you so much, Lisa!
This first one is from the Ghostly Sweet Tooth set.  I thought it was very cute with all of those layers and the shaped side.  I added a bow on the ghost of Lime Licorice Trendy Twine.
The candy corn card is from the Spooky Cards set.  It looks a little different than the picture on the website because I wanted my candy corns to by filled in.  All I did was "break apart" the top card layer so all of the pieces were separate.  Then I grouped the pieces I wanted by color and cut them out.  They fit perfectly in the spaces of the top layer!  I wrapped some Bumblebee Trendy Twine around the bottom and added a few sequins for embellishments.
Do you see the fun stamp I added to the top?  It is from Pink & Main.  This Saturday, we are having a Halloween blog hop with them!
You can join the Facebook event HERE for a reminder to hop.  We hope to see you there!
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Twine- Jar Shaker Card

Good morning friends! Today is my day to post on the Trendy Twine blog.  I created this vintage jar shaker card for Grandparent's Day, but it could be used for birthday, thinking of you and many other occasions just by changing the sentiment.
I used a Jar stamp from Whimsy Stamps to create the shaker.  I tied a Petite Kraft Tags with Metal Rim around the top of the jar.  On the tag I formed a heart out of Cherry Latte Trendy Twine and covered it with glossy accents for a shiny look.  I also used the Cherry Latte Trendy Twine to weave through the red doily and tied it in a bow.
I finished it off with a sentiment banner on which I used a stamp from Simple Everyday Greetings from Whimsy Stamps.  I love that sentiment stamp set and use them all the time!

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Twine- Gift Card Holder

Good morning friends! Today is my day to post on the Trendy Twine blog. Fall is coming soon and with the cooler days, many people like to drink coffee. So, what better gift to give than a gift card for that?!
I started with a Small Glassine Bag and embossed it with a swirly embossing folder.  It was the perfect size for a gift card!  Then for the topper, I used pretty patterned paper and wrapped Cherry Latte Trendy Twine around it and also added a bow of that twine on the tag.  Then for the coffee cup, I used a file from SVG Attic's set called All I Need.  I layered it with glossy accents and covered the steam with Chocolate Truffle and Krazy for Kraft Trendy Twines.

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Twine-Mini Coffee Cup Packaging

Good morning friends!  Today is my day to post on the Trendy Twine blog.  This month we are spotlighting the Mini Coffee Cups and Cherry Latte Trendy Twine.  Here is what I created!
I found a tutorial for this mini coffee cup holder on Pinterest.  Isn't it darling?  I love that window that allows a peek at the cup inside.  I attached a wooden spoon to the front as a decoration.  The twine wrapped around the spoon and the box is Cherry Latte Trendy Twine.
I created a tag for the top of the box and attached it with a twine bow.
Here is what the sweet Mini Coffee Cup looks like all decorated!  I dusted off my crochet hook and made that sweet heart with the Cherry Latte Trendy Twine.  I used Krafty Red Trendy Twine to wrap around the cup and the bow on the button is Totally Kraft Trendy Twine.

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

I am so excited and honored to be the Growing in Unity Gal this week!  Each day I will post a creation I have made using stamps from Unity Stamp Co.

Today is Day #5, the final day of this wonderful week, and this is the card that I have made to share with you.
I used the stamp set called Boots, Class and Sass for this one.  Isn't it so much fun?  I colored the image with colored pencils and added some glitter glue to the dots surrounding the image.  The papers I used are from Jillibean Soup's Irish Farmhouse Soup collection.  I think they matched perfectly!

Growing In Unity~Day 4

I am so excited and honored to be the Growing in Unity Gal this week!  Each day I will post a creation I have made using stamps from Unity Stamp Co.

Today is Day #4 and this is the card that I have made to share with you!
I used stamps from the set Everything More at Unity.  I created an SVG file by tracing around the bracket stamp and shadowing it so I wouldn't have to fussy cut around the label.
The gold and gold print paper is absolutely stunning!  I wish you could see it in person.  It just shines.  It is from the Classic Glam Glitter stack at Hobby lobby.  The fancy die cut that is behind the sentiment label is from Top Dog Dies.  To finish off the card, I added three adhesive pearls in the bottom right corner.

Growing In Unity~Day 3

I am so excited and honored to be the Growing in Unity Gal this week!  Each day I will post a creation I have made using stamps from Unity Stamp Co.

Today is Day #3 and this is the card that I have made to share with you!
I used multiple stamps on this card.  The doily is the Half of Her Doily stamp.  I used white embossing powder on it.  I also stamped and embossed on the hearts using the heart stamp from Pockets & Patches and clear embossing powder.  I tied a bow around the front panel with Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine and added a key and sequins to finish it off.
This is what the card looks like opened up.  I used the same heart stamp as I did on the front hearts and also added the sentiment from a The Vintage Touch KOM.

Anniversary Box Card

If you are looking for my Growing In Unity post for today, click HERE!

Hello all!  It is my turn to post on the SVG Attic blog, and today I am sharing a box card I created for my husband's grandparents who celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this year.  A milestone like that deserves an extra special card, so I modified the one in SVG Attic's Wedding Wishes set just a bit to have it work for an anniversary.
On the back panel, I omitted the words that were supposed to be on it and placed the bouquet higher up.
Here is a peek at the beautiful formal elements that create the center parts of the card.
Look at those rings!  I used DCWV's Glitzy Glitter silver cardstock for the diamond and it just shines!
On the front, I also changed the words from what the file included.  I simply cut out "60 years" to fit on the front panel.  For added touches, I used Pinkberry Sorbet Trendy Twine under the "60" and I also added flowers on the side flaps of the box.  Those flowers were cut from the bouquet flowers.
The best part is that it all folds flat!  I used my scoring board to create the envelope.  I started with a 11" square and scored each diagonal side at 4.25".  They loved the card!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

P.S. SVG Attic is having a Guest Design Team call!  Stop by THIS blog post for all the details.  The deadline to apply is September 15th.

Growing In Unity~Day 2

I am so excited and honored to be the Growing in Unity Gal this week!  Each day I will post a creation I have made using stamps from Unity Stamp Co.

Today is Day #2 and this is the card that I have made to share with you!
I used both of the stamps in the Faceless Beauty stamp set.  I absolutely ADORE this stamp set!  I love the gorgeous girl and the sentiment is so powerful.  I colored this image with markers.  I do not color often, so I was happy that this turned out as well as it did!
I added glitter glue to the dots around the image for extra pizzazz :)  Both of the layers that are stamped on are popped up with foam tape for extra dimension.  I used Lemon Tart and Tickled with Teal Trendy Twines for the tag.  I finished it off with adding three homemade enamel dots in the bottom right corner.  The patterned papers are from DCWV's Sunday Afternoon stack.

Growing In Unity~Day 1

I am so excited and honored to be the Growing in Unity Gal this week!  Each day I will post a creation I have made using stamps from Unity Stamp Co.

Today is Day #1 and this is the card that I have made to share with you!
The stamp that I used is from the Every Day Be Happy set.  I colored it with markers to match the patterned papers and then cut around it by hand.  I embossed the panel of patterned papers behind the sentiment with a floral embossing folder for extra visual interest.  Both the stamped layers and the embossed layers are popped up with foam tape.  Some sequins and twine finished off the card.

I have been in the fall/Halloween mood lately with my creations, so I thought I would share this fall themed card with you.
The beautiful papers I used are from DCWV's 6x6 Sweater Weather stack.  The stamps I used are from Unity Stamps.  They were part of a grouping that I was so blessed to have won from Kim!  The stamped panel is popped up with foam tape.
The jute ribbon I used is from 3 Girl JAM.
